We do not use any poison, solvents or harsh chemicals on the farm or on ourselves. Everything is connected - everything we do has a impact - what we do matters. So on that note, I will post some blogs with recipes for home made products that we use daily or as needed. This one is for treating fluffy scale and aphids. When I say treating, I mean, if you can see your plant is actually under attack and risks dying all together. A little scale, a few aphids or a few worms eating a few leaves is all ok - no need to panic or come out with spray bottles blazing!

All the ingredients are in your kitchen cupboard, no need for a special trip to a agricultural store.

Recipe:

1 Teaspoon Dish washing Liquid

2 Teaspoons Bicarbonate of Soda

500ml water

Pour into a spray bottle and off you go.
